English Version

On 31 October 2004, a group of friends and alumni of Casimiro Castillo, Jalisco, Mexico for the first time we met in the city of Guadalajara. The objective of this meeting was to integrate a group of people of good will, decided to work on a common project whose interest did not go beyond that to collaborate in a cause-focused social development of abused children in our community.
Attendees have ratified the interest of passing and return to our people, our people, some of what we have learned and received from the community during our formative years.
In this first meeting originated the concept of “Friends for Resolana” months after Jorge Jacinto and Andres Peña designed the corresponding logo.
Subsequently legalized civil partnership altruistic with the name of “I am a child, I want to be great, AC”

The Board is composed of:

President – Ramon Cuencas-Zamora
Secretary – Nicholas Flores Carreño
Treasurer – Reymundo Ramirez Nunez
Vocal – Salvador Solórzano Vargas
Vocal – Francisco Flores Ramos
Vocal – Mercedes García Zamora

The association has Casimirenses supporting the project from their place of residence in the U.S.. The cities that have participated in sports and social activities to raise funds are:

Chino, California and nearby cities.
Las Vega, Nevada.
Houston, Texas.
Dalton, Georgia.

Coming soon begin activities in other cities like Denver, Colorado (Ariel Ruiz, Juan Vasquez, and Dora Garcia), Phoenix, Arizona (Mary of the Angels Regalado), and Coppell, Texas (Trini and Ramon Basin and friends). We believe that this website will be a useful means of communication to contact people interested in working on the project.

The mission of “I’m a child, I want to be great, AC” is to protect and help grow the most precious natural treasure, children. All children have an innate and unlimited potential to be developed. Every child that is lost through neglect, lack of love or food affects us all.

Vision:

Provide social support to disadvantaged children to be able to develop their own criteria and broad thinking and allowing them to understand their natural potential and can be trained as responsible and honest citizens who contribute to the betterment of our community.

Proposal:

Build a group home to provide housing, food, clothing and support academic, athletic, cultural and disadvantaged children in the area south of the state of Jalisco, Mexico, including the municipalities of Casimiro Castillo, Cuautitlan, Villa de Purificacion, La Huerta, and Cihuatlan. This building will be the headquarters branch of house-homes that were delegated elsewhere under the rubric of “I’m a child, I want to be great.”

The group home will have an area of approximately 3,000 m2 building (of a total of 10,000 m2). The cost of construction is $ 7,000.00 pesos per m2 which generates an estimated total value of 21 million pesos equivalent to 1 million 827 thousand U.S. dollars. The property will have the following features:

3 Bedrooms for children 4-8 years, 9-13 years, and 14-18 years
3 Bedrooms for girls ages 4-8, 9-13, years, and 14-18 years
Study rooms and workshops.
Spacious living room for 45 children
Spacious living room for 45 girls (these two rooms will be built next to each other and have a division that allows mobile use space as auditorium)
Offices for management and administration.
Kitchen Dinning
Rooms for personnel service
Rooms for visitors
Store food
Nursing
Laundry and Cloakroom
Mural with the names of sponsors

In the remaining 7,000 m2 of land will be used for landscaping, sports fields, orchards, gardens, and crops of the region.

On December 31, 2009, is the official date of the land grant. Legal representatives who participated in the process of this grant are Mr. Antonio T. García Gómez, Master. Margarito Casillas Madera and snqsg entourage.

The logo of “Friends for Resolana” was designed in 2004 (see this in the About Us section) with no idea where the house would be built home. The land was donated in 2009 and as you can see, the hills are the logo background naturally. We believe this coincidence is a positive sign that empowers us to overcome obstacles and fulfill our dream.
